Overflow Accommodations
Overflow accommodations for the SCAC Annual Conference include the Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre and Residence Inn Charleston Mt. Pleasant. Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from Wild Dunes Resort. Both properties are located approximately 7 miles from Wild Dunes Resort.

Shuttle Transportation
We have arranged for shuttle transportation Monday, July 31 – Wednesday, August 2 to/from Wild Dunes Resort and the two overflow properties, Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre and the Residence Inn by Marriott Charleston Mt. Pleasant. We highly encourage you to take the shuttle or use valet at the Sweetgrass Pavilion Conference Center if you are staying at one of the two overflow properties or coming in for only one day.
- Coastal Limousine will run TWO continuous shuttles to/from the Hyatt Place Mount Pleasant Towne Centre / Residence Inn by Marriott Charleston Mt. Pleasant and Wild Dunes Resort. Both shuttles will display a sign that reads “SCAC Annual Conference-Wild Dunes Resort”.
- Drop-off and pick-up at Wild Dunes Resort will be at the Sweetgrass Pavilion Conference Center EXCEPT for Tuesday and Wednesday. See below for details.
Shuttle Hours of Operation
Monday, July 31
8:15 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 1
7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
*5:30-7:30 p.m. shuttles will pick-up/drop-off at the Sweetgrass Inn for the Welcome Reception.
Wednesday, August 2
8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
*5:30-10:00 p.m. shuttles will pick-up/drop-off at the Sweetgrass Inn for the Closing Reception.
The shuttles will run continuously to and from the Hyatt Place and Residence Inn during the hours stated above. The last time listed above is the last pick-up time from Wild Dunes Resort.
Self-Parking at Wild Dunes
Self-parking is very limited at Wild Dunes. There are two areas available for self-parking: the brick lot in front of the Sweetgrass Pavilion Conference Center and the area around the tennis courts. Please note that it is first come, first serve and very limited.
Valet Parking at Wild Dunes
Wild Dunes offers complimentary valet service at: The Sweetgrass Inn, The Residences, The Boardwalk Inn, and the Sweetgrass Pavilion Conference Center (Monday/Tuesday – 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.). After hours, keys left at the Sweetgrass Pavilion Conference Center will be moved to the Sweetgrass Inn if they are not retrieved.
Group Tip for Valet Parking Staff
SCAC has provided a group tip for the valet parking attendants for the duration of the conference. An additional tip isn’t necessary but is appreciated if you choose to provide one. Please note that this tip does NOT
cover resort restaurants and bars, only valet parking staff.
