Counties Connect: A Legislative Action Day, Institute of Government & Council Chairperson's Workshop
The South Carolina Association of Counties (SCAC) will host Counties Connect: A Legislative Action Day on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at the Pastides Alumni Center at USC in downtown Columbia. This event provides an excellent opportunity for county leaders to connect with their local delegation members to advocate for their counties. All county officials are encouraged to participate.
County officials will have a chance to engage with their legislators during the Counties Connect Legislative Reception that evening at The Palmetto Club.
Institute of Government for County Officials classes, including the Council Chairperson's Workshop will be offered in conjunction with Counties Connect on Thursday, Feb. 20. The Institute is designed to provide the opportunity for county officials to enhance their skills and abilities to function effectively as elected officials.
