Spotlight: Daina Riley

The SC Association of Counties is honored to spotlight Daina Riley. Daina joined the SCAC team in 2018 and focuses her advocacy outreach on public safety, corrections, and judicial issues on behalf of our counties. When asked how her work impacts our members, she says:

“I enjoy that the work we do provides a real impact for county officials. When we can accomplish something at the statehouse, it makes daily business easier and more efficient for counties in real practice.”

Described by her colleagues as dedicated, always willing to take on new tasks, positive, kind, motivated, and disciplined, Daina is a tremendous asset to the association. She is a member of 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC, where she and others meet quarterly to donate to a worthy, local cause. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her fiancé, Evan.
