2021 SCAC Legislative Conference Presentations Available Online

SCAC hosted the 2021 Legislative Conference in Charleston Dec. 2 -3. County officials received updates on infrastructure challenges and opportunities from Bonnie Ammons, Executive Director, SC Rural Infrastructure Authority; Leland Colvin, Deputy Secretary for Engineering, SC Department of Transportation; and Jim Stritzinger, Director, SC Broadband Office. Michael Hitchcock, Chief Executive Officer of the SC Retirement System Investment Commission, provided an informative update on the SC Retirement Systems. Presentations are available via the links above. During the conference, SCAC’s Legislative Committee adopted the official policy positions for the 2022 Legislative Session. County officials will receive a copy of the association’s Policy Position’s for the 2022 Session publication in early January.
