Bamberg County was one of many in South Carolina to honor military veterans by participating in Operation Green Light this year. The Bamberg County Courthouse Annex and Isaiah Odom Building Gazebo were lit green, and local businesses and residents were asked to display green lights in their windows and entrances to honor veterans.
"Operation Green Light for Veterans is an easy way to county officials as well as Bamberg County businesses and residents to show their appreciation for our veterans," said County Councilwoman Sharon Hammond.

The South Carolina Broadband Office (SCBBO), within the Office of Regulatory Staff, seeks public comment regarding Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Initial Proposal.
