Notice of Funding Availability - RIA Grant Program: $30 Million Available in FY22
The South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) is pleased to announce the availability of $30 million in competitive grant funds for the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2021.
The Basic and Economic Infrastructure grant programs offer assistance to local governments and other eligible entities for publicly-owned water, sewer and stormwater drainage facilities.
The FY22 Grant Program Strategy, Grant Application and other updated program documentation will be posted to RIA's website (under the Resources tab) no later than July 14, 2021.
New Regional Feasibility Planning Grants
In addition to RIA's current grant programs (Basic & Economic), a NEW program category - Regional Feasibility Planning Grants - has been added for FY22. Funds will be made available to conduct studies that will help utilities explore options to become more viable in the future.

Grant Application Workshop

Join SC RIA online to learn how to access funds from RIA including the new planning grant program. Among the topics that will be presented: amount of funds available, how to apply, eligible applicants and activities, program priorities, grant amounts and match requirements.
The annual RIA Grant Workshop will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams.
