Fiscal Year 2024 Wage and Salary Survey Available

The South Carolina Association of Counties' FY 2024 Wage and Salary Report is now available online. The report contains wage and salary survey results for 203 positions in county government.  Divided into five county population groups based on the 2020 Decennial Census and then sorted by position, the publication includes job titles, total staff, and pay ranges for each county. The report also includes:

•  full and part-time employment figures,
• general fund budget and payroll totals, and
• paid holidays observed by each county.

We would like to thank the staff from each participating county’s human resources office for their valuable assistance with the survey. Thirty-eight counties contributed to the report.
